Tim Myers, PSS PSD: Professional Biography
Mr. Myers a US Citizen, President of Myers
Security Consulting, Inc. with twelve years directly related to Security
Management providing industrial, governmental and home security consultation
services as well as personal security services, armed and unarmed
instruction. Mr. Myers operates as an Independent Contractor (IC) with
the U.S. Office of Personnel Management and as a High-Threat Protection (HTP)
Protective Services Specialist (PSS) on multiple tours with government projects
in high-risk austere environments with concentrations in High Threat Protective Security Details (PSD), Emergency Response Teams (ERT), Hostage Recovery and Force Protection and
Anti-Terrorist (FP/AT) threat mitigation. He has served multiple tours in
the Middle Eastern theater as a HTP PSS PSD & ERT Team Leader
and Assistant Program Manager in support of Security Services Iraq
(SSI)/Department of Defense (DOD)/ Department of State (DOS) contracts.
Nationally, he has served multiple tours in New Orleans as a PSS/PSD member
supporting Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/Federal Protective Services
(FPS) contracts. Mr. Myers served as a Deputy Sheriff with Escambia
County (ECSO), Pensacola, Florida qualifying as a Field Training Officer, Firearms
Instructor, and Dive Team Member. Prior to his employment in Law
Enforcement, Mr. Myers retired after 20 years of honorable service in the
United States Navy as a veteran of the Gulf War with concentration in the areas
of Military Police, conventional and special weapons aviation ordnance, Naval
Air Crew Search and Rescue Swimmer operations, SEAL/EOD support; in-flight
ordnance technician, photographer & aerial gunner; Aviation Ordnance (AO)
academic school Instructor, Instructor Evaluator and Rescue Swimmer School
